Okay there are stupid films and then there are stupid films.

Legally Blonde.  It's a stupid film.  It's funny, and I like watching it, but I know I should be a little ashamed, except it's got Selma Blair in it, and I have a crush.

Showgirls.  Yeah, dumb on a spectacular level, but everyone in the cast and crew knew except for Elizabeth Berkeley, and that makes it SO much better.

This film, however:  I have never had a trailer for a film make me want to practice euthanasia on an entire species.

Here is the trailer for Beverly Hills Chihuahua.  I have watched it 3 times now.  The first time because, well, I seriously couldn't believe that the film existed.  The second time because when I woke up, and tasted the vomit in my mouth, I wanted to find out why.  The third time was Saturday, as an experiment to see if I should be as offended as I am.

This could be the movie that sets me over the edge.  I mean seriously, I can put up with a lot of vapid shit in our society but PLEASE!

I cant even snark, because  dissecting something this is not worth taking the time to do. I shouldn't even be writing this post to describe the mind-altering sense of rage I feel about this film except that I am hoping that somebody somewhere will read it, recognize something in it that resonates, and will KILL EVERY MOTHERFUCKER RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING THIS FILM.

That's right, I am using my first ammendment rights to advocate right now the execution of the people responsible for this tripe. Writers, director, producers, actors, hell even the people who work tech support on the machines responsible for the CGI.  If you gave someone a sadwich while they were pitching this shit, you need to die.

Ah, hell.  Who am I kidding.  This will probably win an oscar for best Song.
